IB exams

A body is thrown vertically upward
and it reaches 10m high. Find the velocity with which the body was thrown? (g =
9.8 m/s)

H_{max}=10\\\\v= \sqrt{2gh}= \sqrt{2 \times 9.8 \times 10}= \sqrt{196}=14\ m/s

SO it was thrown at 14 m/s.
