An earthworm is 300 feet deep in the well. Every day it climbs 3 feet up

the walls of the well but slips down 2 feet at night, as the walls becomes
damp, How many days will it take to climb out of the well?

     Net Gain in a Day = 3feet - 2feet = 1 feet
  Therefore ,
the earthworm will climb 297 feet in 297 days
and wil climb 3 feets in another day..
hence it will take  EarthWorm (297+1 ) = 298 days to climb 300 feet

Hope it helps :)

I think it will take him 298 nights . The series will continue till the 297 th ( he will climb 1 feet daily). But on the 298 th night he will climb 3 feet and reach the top , thus no place to slip!
