What are the factors on which the resistance of a conductor depends? what happens to the resistivity of a conductor when its length is doubled?

Resistance is directly proportional to length and temperature And inversely proportional to cross section area of wire By this R = ९L/A Where ९ is a constant And it is known as Resistivity. ९ =RA/L Resistivity is a constant and doesn't change As length gets doubled, area becomes half , And thus leading to a constant value. Hope it was helpful.
