Foetal ejection reflex are the mild uterine contractions generated by placenta
when the foetus is fully developed , at the time of parturition.
Parturition is a neuro-endocrine mechanism, and is started by the signalsfrom the developed foetus and the placenta , which produce the foetal ejection reflex .This causes the releases of oxytocin from the pituitary , which causes stronger uterine contractions.This lead to the expulsion of baby along with the placenta
