Distance traveled is semi-circle or \frac{1}{2} of a circle.
This means that distance is equal to half of circumference of a circle.
=> Distance =  \frac{1}{2} × 2 π r = π r
Displacement = diameter of circle = 2r

Now, ratio =  \frac{Distance}{Displacement}
=>  \frac{πr}{2r} =  \frac{π}{2} = π : 2
