SI unit of density =  \frac{kg}{m^3}
CGS unit of density =  \frac{g}{cm^3}

1kg = 1000g
1m³ = 100cm × 100cm × 100cm = 10⁶ cm³

Ratio= \frac{kg}{m^3}/ \frac{g}{cm^3}  = \frac{10^3\ g}{10^6\ cm^3} / \frac{g}{cm^3}=\frac{10^3}{10^6} \times \frac{g}{cm^3} / \frac{g}{cm^3}=\frac{10^3}{10^6}= \frac{1}{1000}

So the ratio of SI unit and CGS unit of density is \boxed{1:1000}
