Hi there! Have questions about your homework? At Brainly, there are 60 million students who want to help each other learn. Questions are usually answered in less than 10 minutes. Try it for yourself by posting a question! :D

There are two three in the numbers 1,453,308 leena says the 3 on the right is 10 times the 3 on the right . Is leena correct , explain....please help me as

See,in the no. "1 4 5 3 3 0 8"the first 3 from the right is a three hundred, and the first 3 from the left is a three thousand ,if you remove the 8 from the ones place.now if you multiply three hundred by ten (300*10)the answer will be three thousand(300*10=3000)and hence "the 3 on the right is 10 times the 3 on the left"and if you had the number "1453308"you won't even have to remove the 8 from the ones place.

Given: 1,453,308. from the left, the place value (P1)of 3 is thousands place. from the right, the place value(P2) of 3 is hundreds place. leena is very CORRECT. P2 = 100 ×3 =300. therefore ,P1= 300 ×10 = 3000 proof: 3000/10=300 so leena is right because 3 on the left is 10 times the 3 on the right.
