Yak are animals that live in temperatures in minus-
the wollycovering helps the yak to insulate or trap the body heat of the yak from inside and not let the cold from outside enter the body.it works just like woollen clothes to us.

Yaks live in an extreme cold temperature so the woolly covering on it's body which prevents it from the outside cold temp. it acts like a sweater for us which traps the warm air & does not allow it to reach outside cold temperature.

hope it helps.............
