Consider a set A and  let set B be the subset of A....Set B is the subset because it contains elements of set A only                                                                        A  set is not a subset if and only if the subset doesnot contain the element of universal set
now as the empty set doesn't contain any other elements other than the universal set ....the empty set is considered as the subset of every set

Yes, the empty set is a subset to every set.Not only that, it is also a proper subset to every set except the set having no elements, i.e. Ф set.
It is a subset of that particular set.
