Ok, herons formula states half the perimeter will be s, and  it states A=\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}.

Here we can see that both sides a and b (in the heron equation) are same. therefore a=b and b=a. Note:the b you gave is not the one in the heron formula.

therefore if you do the factoring and all that u'll get an answer.

A=\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)} \\ \A=\sqrt{s[s(2a)(s-c)}
