Density =mass/ volume It is the mass per unit volume. For e.g- The mass of a body is 200 kg. And the volume is 100 cubic metre. Then the density =?? Answer- Mass =200 kg Volume = 100 cubic metre Therefore, Density = mass/volume = 200 kg /100 cubic metre = 2 kg/cubic metre (ans.) **Note :: The S.I unit of density is kg/ cubic metre Hope this helps you
