A car covers 30 km at a uniform speed of 30 km/hr. What should be its speed for the next 90 km if the average speed for the entire journey is 60 km/hr ?

( ans is 90 km/hr speed
but when we try answer comes 9 km/hr)

Let the speed for the next time be x.
therfore (30+x)/2=60
therefore x=120-30
therfore x=90 km/hr
Since average of 2 speeds wil be (speed1+speed2)/2

3 4 3
if 2 or more people give the same ans then obviously it has to be correct
i gave a lil long lecture...sorry fr dat
hmmm.....its kkk
Total distance = 30+90=120
if avg. spd is 60 km/h then total time to cover the dist. is 2 hour.
avg spd.= (30+x)/2

distance=spd * time

i.e spd = 90 km/h
3 4 3
which i have answered...!!!!!
no sorry ithin k there's no problem....
whats the problem
no deres no problem
