Ankita and Rumi are good friends. They want to see a film, but Rumi's parents don't like their going out without elders What could be her parent's fears. What

could be done to reason out with them

Well, Parent's fears are not always wrong. We, children, just need to understand them correctly.
Coming on the topic, Rumi's parents, I think wanted to protect Rumi from the unwanted situation of the society. But they forgot that Rumi will have to face such problems some day. To make them understand, someone would have to explain them calmly that they should leave Rumi free to go out.
Well schools can also play an essential role. How ? In our school we have a counseller who calls parents and tells them about the feelings of their children and to deal with them.
