Consider a situation ,that you are playing with some balls of same mass, size shape colour, etc. Took one ball and through it on a frictionless surface, at a few distance kept another ball ,now when collision is going to take place b/w these ball just after the collision calculate or observe the velocity of first ball and after collision observe the velocity of both ball and you will get the total momentum of the balls before collision equal to the total momentum after the collision of the two balls

TAKE A BIG RUBBER BALLOON AND INFLATE IT FULLY AND ITS NECK USING A ADHESIVE  TAPE ,FIX A STRAW ON THE SURFACE OF THIS BALLOON
PASS A THREAD THROUGH THE STRAW AND HOLD ONE END OF THE THREAD IN YOUR HAND OR FIX IT ON THE WALL.
ASK YOUR FRIEND TO HOLD THE OTHER END OF THE THREAD  OR FIX IT ON A WALL AT SOME DISTANCE .
NOW REMOVE THE THREAD TIED ON THE  NECK OF THE BALLOON.
OBSERVE THE DIRECTION IN WHICH THE BALL MOVES.
ANS :IT MOVES OPPOSITE TO THE DIRECTION THE AIR IS RUSHING OUT.
THEREFORE THE FORCE EXERTED BY THE AIR IS EQUAL TO FORCE EXERTED BY THE BALLOON .THEREFORE THE MOMENTUM IS CONSERVED.
