When a capacitor is connected across a DC current, the charge gets accumulated on the capacitor plates. When it gets fully charged, the current flow stops. It is because the charges accumulated on the plates induce an voltage which is same as the DC current source voltage but in opposite direction. So the effective voltage in the circuit becomes 0. Thus no current flows.
