A cubical block of water is dipped completely inwater. Each edge of the block is 1cm in length. Find the buoyant force actingon the block



The buoyant force acting on a body immersed in a liquid is:
Buoyant force = ρ × V × g 
ρ is density of liquid [= mass / volume]
V is Volume of immersed part of the body or displaced liquid &g is acceleration  due to gravity 

ρ = 1000 Kg/m³ 
V= (1cm)³ = (10^-2 m)³ =10^-6 m &
g = 9.81 m/s²

∴  Buoyant force = 1000 × 10^-6 × 9.81 = 0.00981 N
