Yes, it's true that Train transport consume more fuel then a car transport because the size of the rail engine is so big and they should pull a whole train which is fill with humans so the engine should pull a huge weight that's why they requires more power which consumes more fuel. we know that a train engine gives 700 m mileage in a 1 liter of petrol so it's a highly expensive so train transport consumes more fuel.
