Explanation :

Impulse = force*time

= ML /T

Let initial mass = M , length = L and time = T

therefore ,

Impulse = I₁ = ML/T

Now mass = 4M , length = 4L and Time = 4T

hence ,

Impulse = I₂= 4M*4L / 4 T

I₂ = 4 ML /T

I₂ = 4 I₁
