Is it possible that a force changes only in the direction of motion without any change in the speed of the object.Illustrate your answer with the help of

an example

Yes, it is possible in the case of rotational motion. Take the example of earth revolving around sun. The sun applies a constant centripetal force on earth (approx.) due to which the earth revolves around the sun at constant speed ( if you consider earth to revolve in a perfect circle). But the direction of motion continuously changes which is in the direction of tangent to its position.
