Explain why it is difficult to push a tin can into water keeping its mouth upwards than when its mouth is kept downwards towards the water?




when the tin is pushed into water keeping its mouth upwards the air makes it difficult as air has less density than water whereas when its mouth is downwards while pushing some water gets inside the can and the air is expelled out thus making easier
