Sunita and her friend were standing at opposite corners of rectangular park of size 120m*50m for meeting her fraind followed the shortest route find the

distance covered by sunita in doing so

Let this be the rect. where l= 120 m
w = 50 m
we need to find d
So, by Pythagoras theorem
b^2 + p^2 = h^2
120^2+50^2= d^2
14400+2500= d^2
16900 = d^2
d = √16900
d = 130 m
So,the answer is 130m.

by applying pyth. thm. we get,120^2+50^ = √16900
d = 130 m
So,the answer is 130m
Let triangle abcd and they are standing at a and c so in triangle abc
By pythagoras theorem
ac= √(120)²+(50)²m⇒√14400+2500m⇒√16900m⇒130m
130m is shortest route
