Find the distance covered by Sunita in doing so


13m is the length of the diagonal of rectangle,the shortest distance between them

If we draw a figure we will see that the shortest distance is the diagonal of the rectangle
by pythagoras theorem
hypotenuse square = side square + side square
let the diagonal be x
x^2 = 120^2 + 50^2
x^2 = 14400 + 2500
x^2 = 16900
x = square root of 16900

therefore the shortest distance is 130 m
