A square and an equilateral triangle have the same perimeter. Each side of the triangle is 4 inches longer than each side of the square. What is the

perimeter of the square? Please answer ASAP

Suppose the length of the square is x . Then it's perimeter would be equal to 4x . Then the perimeter of the triangle would be 3( x+4) Now as they are equal 4x = 3(x+4) 4x= 3x+12 X= 12 Therefore perimeter of the square is 4x = 4× 12= 48
