A body located 12 meters high from the ground, the gravitational potential energy is 1440 J. Given g = 10 m/s2, determine the value of the mass of the body

This Is a Certified Answer

Certified answers contain reliable, trustworthy information vouched for by a hand-picked team of experts. Brainly has millions of high quality answers, all of them carefully moderated by our most trusted community members, but certified answers are the finest of the finest.
Potential Energy= Mass×Acceleration due to gravity×Height
P=1440J, g=10m/s², h=12m

Hence, mass is unknown so we can write,
m= \frac{P}{g×h}
m= \frac{1440}{10×12}

Hence, mass of the object is 12kg.
