at high altitudes the atmospheric pressure decreases so the blood pressure in our body pushes the blood out. if the atm. pressure becomes zero then one would burst.

At high altitudes the pressure outside is less(means less than 1atm) and pressure inside our body is more...therefore this leads to rupturing of blood vessels and causes bleeding(mainly nose bleeding)..thats why it is diff. to stop bleeding due to pressure difference
