Uniform acceleration (a) = 8 m/s²
Time (t) = 1 s 

Distance travelled in 1 second
= ut + 1/2at²
= 0 + 1/2× 8 ×1²
= 4 m  Ans.

Acceleration = 8m/s ²
time taken = 1 sec
And we have to find distance ,
so distance will be,
S = ut+ ½at ²
S = 0 * 1 + ½ *8*1*1
S = 4 * 1
S = 4
Therefore distance traveled = 4 m
