A marble tile measures 12cm × 10cm. How many tiles will be required to cover a wall of size 4m by 3m? Also, find the total cost of the tiles at ₹22.50 per

One tile=12×10=120cm,wall=4×3 =12m,1m=100cmso,12m=1200cm.to find no.of tiles =1200÷120=10.co
Total cost=22.50×10=225/-
I think it is correct

I don't know whether it is right but the answer what I got is Rs 225.10. I got by finding the area of both rectangles and changed into centimetre. And I divided them and the answer is 10. As 1 tile is Rs 22.50 then 10 tiles is 225.10

Marble tile
length=12 cm

area of a rectangle =l x b
=12 x 10

area of the wall = 4 x 3

1200 divided by 120
therefore, 10 tiles
one tile cost rupees 22.50
so,10 tiles cost=
10 x 22.50
