In the poem the road not taken , the poet chose the road which was less travelled on. He chose it because he was bored with what he was doing. He wanted to use his talents and become a writer ie. the road which normally wasn't taken by people. He wanted to travel on that road and left the other one for some other time although he knew that it was not possible
