Explain a scenario where we can apply cosine rule to solve triangle instead of sine rule. Give examples if there are situations where we can applyonly sine

rule but not cosine rule. When does the ambiguity case of solving a triangle occur? Explain it with example situations where the behaviors of number of solutions vary.

We can apply sine rule if we want to find the perpendicular in respect to its hypotenuse and we can apply cosine rule if we want to find base in respect to the hypotenuse like in case of ladder we know the length of ladder and we want to find the height of building then we apply sine and when we want to find its distance from the building then we apply cosine
