since we do not have the specific minerals like you said about phosphorus.... I wrote that since laterite soil is formed by heavy rains and alternate wet and dry periods hence the minerals get leached however black soil is formed by denudation of lava rocks and is it exposed to the conditions that laterite is exposed to and hence it doesn't get leached. what do you think?
