A cylindrical jar of volume 150cm 3 is full of water. A solid cone is put in the cylindrical jar and some water is drained out. Find the volume of the cone

if 2/3 rd of the water still remains in the jar?

Volume of water (v1)=150cm^3
volume of water inside  is 2/3 of volume of water(v2)=150*2/3
volume of cone=v1-v2

0 0 0
Volume of cylinder = 150cm^3
2/3 water still remains in the cylindrical tub
So,amount of water given out=1/3 of 150cm^3 =50cm^3
According to archimedes principle amount of water displaced is the volume of the object immersed in water
So, volume of the the cone will be 50cm^3
