of shaded region.


Area of shaded region = area of semicircle AB +
                               area of semicircle AC - (area of semicircle on side BC+area of triangle ABC)=6SQ UNITS

Why you need to add area of triangle. If u subtract semicircle BD enough . This was my actual doubt
