 in the chapters 11-19, in the book three men in a boat, by jerome k jerome, he describes how once george got up early one morning and had a bad experience. Jerome and his friends decide to take a bath in the river which they found utterly cold, Jerome accidentally falls into the river but out of ego, pretends to have done so by will. jerome while dressing drops a shirt in the water, george thinking it to be jeromes shirt starts laughing at him only to find out that it was his shirt after all. harris cooks a breakfast of scrambled eggs for the trio and their dog, montmorency. jerome describes the history of the surrounding landscape.
