A village having a population of 1500 needs 120 litre of water per head per day. It has a tank measuring 20m X 15m X 6m full of fresh water. Due to some

fault, the tank is not getting water. For how many days will the water of this tank last?

Measure of the tank = 20 * 15* 6
                                  = 1800 m
so the tank can hold = 1800 l of water
amount of water required in 1 day = 120 l
1800\120 = 15
so the water in the tank will last for 15 days
