Its False. This is not the case everytime. eg: (-2) and (-7). (-2) -(-7) = -2 +7 = 5. Where, 5 is positive and (-2) and (-7) are negative integers.

Difference of two negative integers cannot be a positive integer. It is a false statement.
For example let the numbers be -8 and -9
-8 - (-9) = -8 + 9 = 1
1 is a positive integer.
It proves that the statement is false.
