Why do HCl, HNO3 , etc., show acidic characters in aqueous solutions while solutions of compounds like alcohol and glucose do not show acidic character?

Hcl etc ionize in aqueos solution to produce h+ion ..hence theey show acidic behaviour..compound like c2h5oh and glucose do not ionize in aqueous solution to give h+ ion..hence they do not show acidic behaviour
