X+y=90 degrees
x=y+20
(y+20)+y=90
2y=90-20
y=70/2
y=35 degree
x=35+20=55 degree.

Sum of two complementary angles= 90°
let one of the complementary angles be x and second angle be x-20
then a/q       x+ x-20=90
                  =2x = 90+20
                  = x= 110/2
                   ∴x= 55
so measure of one angle is 55°
 and the second angle is 55-20= 35°
and 55+35= 90°
