A can do a work in 10 days & B can do it in 15 days, if they work together for 5 days, then how many days work will be finished?

ANSWER:  \frac{5}{6}

'A' can do a work in 10 days
⇒Work done by 'A' in 1 day =  \frac{1}{10}
⇒Work done by 'A' in 5 days = 5* \frac{1}{10}
                                              =  \frac{1}{2}

'B' can do the work in 15 days
⇒Work done by 'B' in 1 day =  \frac{1}{15}
⇒Work done by 'B' in 5 days =  \frac{1}{3}

Therefore work done in 5 days by both 'A' and 'B' together
    = Work done by 'A'  in 5 days + work done by 'B' in 5 days
    =  \frac{1}{2} +  \frac{1}{3}
    =  \frac{5}{6}
