Our body need food for various nutrients, like Carbohydrates, Proteins, Fats, Vitamins and Minerals.

Carbohydrates release energy during respiration, which is needed for the survival of organism. Fats also provide energy.

Proteins and Vitamins are required for the proper growth and development of body and the brain. Minerals are required for certain physiological processes occurring within the body.
