Which Roald Dahl character said: “I don’t like small people. Small people should never be seen by anybody. They should be kept out of sight in boxes like

hairpins and buttons. I cannot for the life of me see why children have to take so long to grow up. I think they do it on purpose.”

This quote is highlighted by Miss Trunchbull in the book Matilda. Miss Trunchbull is a tyrant headmistress in the Crunchem Hall Primary School. She considers kids to be a despicable creation which shows her hatred for them in the book. Thereby, she makes harsh statements to her students if they do anything which she doesn't favour(just like the one asked in the question).

Hope it helped :D. I prefer such questions because it's challenging and keep our reading skills on the test.
