Three cars are driving on a racetrack. The mean speed of the three cars is 100 miles per hour. Car X drives 107 miles per hour and Car Y drives 113 miles

per hour. Use the mean to estimate the speed of Car Z. Then find the actual speed of Car Z.

Mean=sum of observation/total no. of observation. If mean of three cars is 100 miles per hour.the speed of two cars is 107,113 miles per hour. Speed of car z =300-(107+113)=80miles per hour
