In triangle EFB ;
EF=EB (given)
I.e. angle ( EFB) = angle (EBF)
In triangle EFB;
angle(EFB) + angle(EBF)+ angle (FEB)= 180°(angle sum property )
90°-y+90°-y+90°=180°(because angle EFB = angle AFE - angle AFB
I.e. angle EFB=90°-y
Then;
180°-2y+90°=180°
90°=2y
y=45°

Then ;
this will give
angle EFB= angle EBF
90°-y=angle EBF
45°= angle EBF

Then angle EBF+ angle FBT=180°(linear pair)
45°=x
then ;
x= 45° and y = 45°
