Now acc. To ques.

y-3+2/y+5=1/2

We get,

y-1/y+5=1/2

Cross multiplying them

2(y-1)=y+5

2y-2=y+5

=2y-y=5+2

=y=7

Now numerator is y-3=7-3=4

So fraction =4/7

then numerator will be x-3.

The denominator and the numerator is increased by 5 and 2 respectively.

So deno=x+5

num=x-3+2 = x-1

x-1/x+5 = 1/2

we have to cross multiply

then we'll get 2x-2=5+x

x = 7

the denominator = x, so the ans: 7

the numerator = x-3,so the ans: 4
