Mechanical advantage is =
distance of force from fulcrum / distance of load from fulcrum

   =  15 cm / (20 - 15) cm  = 3

Weight of coal / Force or effort needed  =  3 = mech. adv.

So effort needed = weight of coal / 3 = 1.5 kgf /3 = 0.5kgf
