1 Stanley Miller's aim was to demonstrate by means of an experiment that amino acid, the building block of proteins, could have come into existence "by chance" on the lifeless earth billions of years ago.

2 The energy was given in the form of heat with the help of hot plates and gas chamber(comparable with primitive atmosphere) which was given energy in the form of electric sparks.
