The surrounding air become warm,this is because vapour phase of h2o condenses by releasing heat to surroundings

its warms up, as the water vapours which contained latent heat in them now condense and form water droplets, thereby releasing or u may say losing the latent heat earlier contained in them. This is necessary to achieve the liquid state. Hence the surrounding air becomes warm.
