Homophones are words with same sound, different spellings and different meanings.e.g. brake/break, son/sun. whereas Homographa are the words with same spellings, different sounds and different meaning. e.g. tear / tear, sow/sow. Homonyms are the words with same spellings, same sounds but different meanings. e.g. bat/bat, bark/bark.
