Yes climate does influence the growth of natural crops.See as follows-      1.Temperature - The temperature affects the extent and the character of vegetation. For example - pine and fur trees are only found in cold regions. 
​2. Precipitation - Areas with high amount of rainfall have more dense vegetation.
​.3 Climatic conditions - difference in climatic conditions leads to variation in soil which are suited for different types of plants and crops growth.Therefore, we witness diversity  from tropical evergreen forests to thorny bushes, from Equatorial rain vegetation to Alpine vegetation.
4. Photoperiod- growth of plants is affected by the process of photoperiodism. There are long day plants like oat, pea barley and short day plants like cotton, sugar which flower when days are shorter.
