Geothermal energy is the heat from the Earth. It's clean and sustainable. Resources of geothermal energy range from the shallow ground to hot water and hot rock found a few miles beneath the Earth's surface, and down even deeper to the extremely high temperatures of molten rock called magma.

geothermal energy comes from beneath the eaarths surface. the temperature deep inside the earth is very high . water seeps below into the ground through available spaces and reaches the hot rocks inside. this water gets heated up to form steam. geothermal powerplants use this steam produced from reservoirs of hot water. this steam can be used to heat homes or can be used to drive generators.
