A sphere and right circular cylinder of same radius have equal volumes. By what % does diameter of cylinder exceed its height. Answer needed urgently.

Let the equal radius of both sphere and cylinder be r and height ofthe cylinder be r.
volume of cylinder = volume of sphere
pir²h= 4/3pi r³
D=3h/2                            { D beath diametre of cylinder}

D=3h/2=3/2*100%= 150%
so required difference= 150-100%=50%

hence diameter of cylinder exceed its height by 50%
